1.  Connie was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico

2. In her first year of life, she lived in the heart of the Puerto Rican tropical rainforest

3. She lived in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands

4. She lived in East Orange, New Jersey

5. Her high school years were spent at Sleepy Hollow High School in Tarrytown, New York

6. She played the flute in her high school band

7. She met and married her husband in Puerto Rico

8. They came to Connecticut in 1987 for job opportunities

9.  She loves to cook for her friends and family
